Want to learn to knit?

This Thursday at 5pm, at A Likely Yarn, our Beginner's Knitting class is starting! This 3 week class will teach the basics of knitting: Casting on, knitting, purling, binding off and basic pattern stitches. No prior experience is needed. We will work on a sampler and a scarf, learning the basics of reading a pattern--everything you need to know to get started making wonderful handknit items.
The cost is $100 which includes ALL materials: 2 skeins of yarn, a pair of needles and a Knitting basics sheet
The instructor is Emily Cottrill, B.A. in studio art from Wheaton College, who learned to knit 5 years ago--from her then 11 year old sister! She now always has at least 3 projects going and doesn't know what she'd do without a pair of needles in her hand. She currently runs a private library and teaches art to children of all ages.
