Red Barn Yarn Trunk Show through October 16th

Mink, alpaca, and sparkle; Oh My!

Now through October 16th we are having a Red Barn Yarn Trunk Show.  We have Mink lace yarn (325 yards - 100% Mink) and Alpaca Sparkle lace (1094 yards of 80% Suri Alpaca/15% Merino/5% Stellina).  We have several one skein samples in the Mink yarn (two designed by members of the A Likely Yarn staff) and the patterns are free with purchase of the yarn.

These yarns will be with us for a limited time!!

The holiday season is just around the corner, I bet your favorite knitter would love to receive either of these hand-dyed luxury yarns in a package all tied up with ribbons and bows.  Knitters & crocheters, do you have someone in your life that needs an extra special hand knit/crochet gift this year?

We also have Red Barn Yarn Sock Sparkle (420 yards - 63% Merino/20% Silk/15% Nylon/2% Silver) that we had last holiday season.  This sold out VERY quickly last holiday season so don't dally if you are hoping to get your needles on this yarn!

September Yarn Of The Month - Roving

Our September Yarn of the Month is Roving.  While it isn't technically a yarn yet, it will be some day!  We have many beautiful colors from Miss Babs, a beautiful sparkly roving from Frabjous Fibers, and silk from Great Adirondack.  We also have natural undyed roving Grandview Farm located here in Abingdon.

All Roving is 15% off through September 30th!

If you would like to learn to spin,  Drop Spinning 101 is Saturday September 14th from 1:00-3:00.  The class is $15 plus materials.  A small amount of roving will be provided but you'll need to purchase a drop spindle.  Class limit of 5 students.

Are you unable to join us on September 14th for the Drop Spinning 101 class?  Try the Spindling: From Fluff to Stuff class from Craftsy.  If you need a spindle or roving, we're always happy to ship.

World Wide Spin In Public Day is September 21st.  Get out and spin!  We would love to see photos if you're participating in WWSIP Day.

We have a new selection of locally made drop spindles if you would like to add to your spindle collection.  These beautiful spindles are made in Tazewell County.
