March Yarn of the Month - Undyed Yarns

Here's an example of how beautiful those natural colors can be: This sweater is made from Classic Elite Yarn's Vail. The pattern is called Brown Sugar.  Vail is a lace weight alpaca & bamboo blend that is unbelievably soft.  I imagine a sweater made in that yarn would be on that you'd never want to take off!

Easter Egg Class

Join us on March 2nd from 11:00-1:00 to learn how to knit beautiful Easter eggs from our sock nibblets.  Class is $15.00 plus materials.

Sock In A Day Workshop

Saturday, February 16th, we're having a Sock In A Day Workshop.  Great class for anyone who wants to learn to make socks without tackling a pair of adult socks.  Learn the basics of knitting top-down socks that begin with the cuff. Learn to turn heels and Kitchener stitch!  Class is from 10:00-5:00 with an hour lunch break.

Materials for the class are: one skein of Jeannee Worsted, a set of size 4 double point needles, and a tapestry needle.  Pattern will be provided.  Class cost: $40.00 plus materials.

Class Requirements: You must be able to increase and decrease and be comfortable with knitting in the round.
