Let's Play With Y.A.R.N.

Join us on December 29th from 1:00-3:00 for our Let's Play With Y.A.R.N. kick off - our 2013 year long game.

Let's Play With Y.A.R.N is sort of like Bingo with a crafty twist.  Each card has 16 challenges. Fill in a four in a row and draw a card worth a certain dollar amount off your next purchase; Face cards are worth $5.00 off your next purchase and ace through ten cards are worth $1.00 off your next purchase. Fill in your entire card to be entered into a drawing for an awesome prize at the end of the year.  Full cards are due by December 31, 2013.  As you complete activities and knit or crochet projects during the year, share them and get your card signed by a staff member.  You can show your projects off by bringing them to the shop, creating a project page on Ravelry and sharing it with the Friends of A Likely Yarn group or post photos on our Facebook page.  You must visit the shop to get your card signed.

Don't let these challenges overwhelm you! You have an entire year to work!

Mystery Sock Knit Along

Join us beginning Friday January 4th from 3:00 to 5:00 for the Progressive Needles CoBaSi Mystery Sock Knit Along hosted by Skacel.  A new clue will be released each week.  We will meet every Friday through January 25th. 

For this knit along you will need:

• 2 skeins of CoBaSi by HiKoo - CoBaSi is 220 yards to 50 grams of Cotton, Bamboo, & Silk.
• Size US 2 (2.75 mm) or size needed to achieve gauge of 8.5 stitches per inch in stockinette.  Socks may be knit with double points, two 24" for two circular method or 32" or 40" circular for Magic Loop method.
• A Sense of Adventure!

Knitters who finish the Progressive Needles CoBaSi Mystery Sock Knit Along may submit an entry form for a prize from Skacel.

To qualify for the prize, the knitter must complete the project in the provided pattern from the Knit Purl Hunter website.  Knitters must provide a clear photo of the project plus a completed Prize Entry Form and email or snail mail them both to Skacel by midnight Pacific Time, February 15th. Mailed entries must be postmarked by February 8th and received by February 15th.  Knitters get once chance to win the drawing. Winners for the prize will be chosen randomly by the accountant for Skacel Collection, Inc.  Winners will be chosen and contacted by February 20th by phone or email and posted on the Skacel Collection website on February 21st.  One First prize winner will receive a set of Addi Clicks of their choice (Lace, Turbo, or Natura) and Two runners up will receive a stuffed Skacel promo bag valued at approximately $100.

All weekend (includes lodging and meals) is $95.00
