Ishbel

I know that many of our customers have made an Ishbel shawl..... or three.... I wonder if we will see any of them at the Customer Appreciation Celebration Tea Party.

Don't forget, registration has been extended to August 25th.  Each person that attends will receive a $10 gift certificate and if you choose to walk in our Runway Show, you'll be entered for a door prize.

Hitchhikers

We've sold so many Hitchhiker patterns that we've lost count.  Will you be wearing yours at the Customer Appreciation Celebration Tea Party?

By the way, if you have not jumped on the Hitchhiker bandwagon yet, we can sell the pattern through our Ravelry In-Store Purchase Program.  The pattern can be made in a variety of yarns and is VERY friendly to hand-painted yarns.  The one in the photo is made from Ruca which is a sport weight yarn that is 100% Sugar.

Delita's Ishbel

Delita recently finished another Ishbel in pink cashmere. *Oooh-Ahhh Cashmere*  Just a little something that could be at the Customer Appreciation Tea Party.

Kristine's Sweater

We've been getting lots of compliments on Kristine's Manana sweater from the book Seaside made from Classic Elite's Sprout.  If she can wrangle it from Eileen, our mannequin, she may be wearing it at the Customer Appreciation Celebration Tea Party at the Martha Washington Inn on September 9th.

The necklace in the photo was made by Kristine as well. It is from our new line of knitted jewelry kits from Nelkin Designs.  Kristine's necklace is from the Rippled kit.  We have earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and some that can be worn as either necklaces or bracelets.

Janet's Shawl

Janet recently made this cozy shawl out of two balls of Moorland.  You may see here wearing it at the Customer Appreciation Celebration Tea Party on Sept. 9th.  We hope to see you there!  Drop by or call the shop (276-628-2143) to sign up by August 17th.

What Will You Wear?

What are you planning to wear to our Customer Appreciation Celebration Tea Party's Runway Show at the Martha Washington Inn on Sept. 9th? 


Modeling in the Runway Show is optional but we do hope to see lots of hand knits on the non-models. We’re hoping to get a few more for our Customer Appreciation Celebration Tea Party’s Runway Show. Each person who chooses to walk the runway with their hand knits will be entered for a door prize.

Everyone who shows up wearing a hand knit will be receive a $10 Gift Card, even if it is a small item like a hat!

August Yarn Of The Month - Mirasol

August's Yarn of the Month is any yarn from Mirasol.  15% off all month long!!

We currently have five yarns from Mirasol: Ushya, Hapi, Tupa, Akapana, and Miski.

Ushya is bulky Merino with a bit of Nylon in a chain knit construction. Super fast knit!  We currently have 7 colors of Ushya in stock. 114 yards to 100 grams (super bulky).

Hapi is 100% Pima cotton in a thick thin style. 132 yards to 100 grams (Aran). We have 17 colors to choose from and every one is beautiful!

Tupa is a 50/50 blend of silk and merino. The shine on this yarn is just gorgeous! We have 14 colors in stock. 137 yards to 50 grams (DK).

Akapana is a beautiful tweed yarn in a llama/merino/acrylic/rayon blend. So soft!  95 yards to 50 grams (worsted). We have 6 colors in stock.

Miski is an amazingly soft 100% baby llama yarn. 82 yards to 50 grams (worsted). We have 8 colors in stock.

Beginning Friday at 9am through Sunday at 3pm

All weekend (includes lodging and meals) is $91.00

All weekend Day Only rate (including meals) is $55.00

A $5.00 registration fee is included in the price.

Daily rates are available.
